About the trip

I offer several guided trips in Suldal. My most recommended trip goes to Vinjanuren (1105 m.a.s.l.). It is a great mountain and kept secret in Suldal. If you want to do the trip over two days, you can stay the night at an old mountain farm on the way to the top. On a clear and nice day, Vinjanuten gives a view to Folgefonna, Stavanger and Ryfylke. The trip starts at 70 m.a.s.l. with a steep but nice trail, before the terrain opens up with a great view. The trip can be made as a roundtrip, ending up close to Suldalsosen.

Practical information

The meeting place will be next to the church in Suldal at 9 am, where there is a large parking lot. If you take the trip calmly, the trip’s duration will be about 6 hours. This includes breaks with storytelling. If you wish a round trip, there will be 20 minutes walking on paved walkway to get back to the cars. You need to have clothes prepared for the weather in high mountains, your own food and a lot to drink. You can be maximum 10 people per group. All participants must be more than 8 years old. There is a maximum capacity of 5 people for staying the night at the mountain farm.
